This Great Blue Heron has returned to a local nesting spot. Due to the risk of spooking these birds (and others), I tend to often shoot from the car window using the door as my tripod.

Found this Pileated working a telephone pole during a recent lunch hour. Very grateful to what Kingston offers with quite the variety of nature and wildlife opportunities.
